Lau Peet Meng is a servant leader with a wide and varied career that stretches over two decades in public service. His journey from a police inspector to deputy commissioner of police (operations) to the permanent secretary for transport development has been marked by influential roles, including serving Singapore in the United Nations Security Council after 9/11 and leading the Casino Regulatory Authority. A Yale, Cambridge, Stanford and Harvard alum, he balances his career with family life and charity work as a board member for World Vision International, chairing its ministry strategy committee. He is a recipient of the Public Administration Medal (silver) and a Knight of the French Legion of Honour.
